I simply paint because I love it. I can find fault with everything I paint because there is nothing as beautiful and unique and as the subject I am painting. I am my own worst critic. I paint in oils and am comfortable with the fluidity of the medium. Whether it’s faces, sadness, happiness, old fat bodies, someone’s idol or someone’s friend and memories it’s so easy to lose oneself in it and deal with all the aspects of our lives. Pure enjoyment.
