A Colorful Entry

Adding natural elements that lend to beachside living while maintaining a level of elegance. The neutral backdrop allowe elements like the Macassar ebony reception desk to ‘Star.’ The entire lobby, including ceilings, have a high polish white venetian plaster applied that really lift the space and create a reflective quality throughout. We love pushing the expectations of a ‘typical’ lobby by incorporating rich accents like the custom yellow silk and wool morphed rug in the entry. We use the same principle in the hallway leading to the elevator lobby which reflects a deep grey venetian with contrasting white plaster sculptural lighting.

Local Color

Layering in an abundance of hues, patterns and textures, this artist studio/music workspace shines with a dozen bright yellow rods—resembling giant pick-up sticks—hanging just above brush aluminum beams. There is a quirkiness to it, but it all comes together and tells a story.
